I’m a communications professional with over eight years of experience across government, higher education, civil society, and the media. I hold a Master’s degree in Journalism and Media Studies from Rhodes University, and I’ve used my skills to craft meaningful content, drive internal and external campaigns, and manage communication initiatives in various environments — including UCT’s ICTS department, the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature, Imbizo Events, and the Sol Plaatje Institute for Media Leadership. I’ve worked closely with media outlets and NPOs to help bridge communication gaps and engage diverse audiences, and I’ve written for The Journalist, further fueling my interest in writing and social issues. My experience spans content creation, stakeholder communication, social media management, event coordination, and visual storytelling.
